The Athens Woman’s Club is reawakening — and we want you to be part of it.  Membership is open to all. Join us and put your talents for the greater good. There is something irreplaceable about a room full of women who are committed to each other and to their community. The Athens Woman’s Club has always been that room. Now we are growing it again, and we are looking for women who are ready to roll up their sleeves, make real friendships, and make a real difference in Athens.

As a member of the Georgia Federation of Women’s Clubs and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs International — the largest and oldest women’s volunteer service organization in the world — your membership connects you to a network of hundreds of thousands of women across the country and around the globe, all working toward the same goal: stronger communities, stronger women, a stronger world.

You grow. The club offers opportunities for leadership development, public speaking, committee work, and civic advocacy. Whether you are stepping into leadership for the first time or bringing years of experience, there is a place for you to use your gifts.

If you’d like to donate items, below is a list of items we are currently collecting.  Please reach out to us make arrangements for a drop off location near you.  We are accepting the items below. 

1. Gently used gently used books for our free little libraries across our state.
2. We collect pop top caps for Ronald McDonald house.
3. We collect used prescription bottles to be reused at the humane societies across the State.
